Attorney Timothy Vandeveer
Tim’s interests center around social justice and public interest law.
He is a founding member and board chair emeritus of the Defend O‘ahu
Coalition, former shop steward for Unite HERE! (Local 5), and community
organizer with the AiKea Movement. Tim brings over 25 years of non-profit
volunteer fundraising experience in local community and statewide

the first national resolution calling for the establishment of a Climate
Conservation Corps (adopted in 2018), a resolution which later became part of
the blueprint for the Green New Deal and Section 215 of President Biden’s
Executive Order 14008.
